Women’s Health Clinical Programme Group Update

Are you interested in Women’s Health?

If so, your new Women's Health Clinical Programme Group (CPG) representatives would like to hear from you.

The Women's Health CPG, aims to increase access to a range of women’s health services.

Your new representatives, Katie Lewis and Jess Smith would like to link up with people who can contribute ideas and comment on proposals in relation to women’s health.

You can find out more about Jess and Katie, and how to get in contact below:

Jess Smith

Jess is a founding member of GlosWomen - a women’s liberation collective established in 2023. Jess has previously worked for the charity Birth Companions; overseeing the delivery of antenatal classes and providing emotional and advocacy support for pregnant women and new mums in prison. Jess has also worked as a trustee and helpline volunteer for Gloucestershire Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre.

Katie Lewis

Katie is the Partnerships and Development Manager at The Nelson Trust. She originally joined the organisation’s Women’s Centre in Gloucester in 2016 as an outreach worker supporting women who sell sex. She has a strong desire to ensure women who experience multiple and complex needs have the same opportunities to healthcare services as those that access mainstream services and hopes that this opportunity will influence services towards making this happen.
